Technology entrepreneur Nagaraj Garimalla has led Protech Solutions, Inc., in Little Rock, Arkansas, for more than three decades. He provides public agencies with business and technical architecture for statewide and international child support networks that help ensure safety and accountability. Nagaraj Garimalla is committed to addressing vulnerabilities and inefficiencies in legacy systems, as well as modernizing child support systems in ways that incorporate the use of AI and real-time data sharing.

One of Mr. Garimalla’s successful endeavors has been working with CSTARS in the US Virgin Islands over the past six years to implement and fine-tune an advanced child support enforcement system. This boosts case handling speed and provides for real-time reporting across state agencies. Mr. Garimalla’s international efforts have included developing iSupport with the Hague Conference in Europe. This first-of-its-kind global child support enforcement platform is designed to bring complex international cases to ready resolution.

Mr. Garimalla’s work on the PACSS system with the state of South Carolina focused on overhauling a legacy system in ways that enabled a high-availability, cloud-enabled platform. His team paired containerization technologies with a unique microservices architecture that effectively cut downtime in half.
